Texas Sheet Cake

1 cup     butter or margarine
1 cup     water
4 Tbls    heaping of cocoa
2 cups    sugar
2 cups    flour
1/2 tsp    salt
1/2 cup  sour cream (1/4 pint)
1 tsp      baking soda
2            eggs

Combine butter or margarine, water and cocoa in 2 qt saucepan.  Heat to boiling stirring occasionally.  Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt.  Beat with mixer until well mixed.  Add sour cream, soda and eggs.  Mix until blended.  Pour into greased 15 x 11 x 1-1/2" jelly roll pan.  Bake in pre-heated oven - 375° for 22 minutes.  Meanwhile, prepare frosting.

Icing: 1/2 cup     butter or margarine (1 stick)
          6 Tbls       milk
          4 Tbls       cocoa
          1 lb           confectioners' sugar (1 box)   
          1 tsp         vanilla
          1 cup        chopped nuts

Combine butter or margarine, milk, and cocoa in saucepan.  Heating to boiling.  Add confectioners sugar, vanilla, and chopped nuts.  Spread frosting over cake while hot.  May store in fridge until served.  

Note: Chilling makes cake fudge-like
