Fruit Leather

by Della Gallaugher
(peach, pear, apple, berry)
8 C. Fruit
1 C. Sugar
¼ C. Lemon Juice

Mix in Blender until smooth.  Place plastic wrap on a cookie sheet.  Spread mixture thinly and evenly on the wrap.  Place cookie sheet on the top rack of a 150 degree oven.  Leave the door cracked slightly.  The fruit is dry when you can tare it like leather.
(will take 2 – 3 hours)
OR:  Use your food dehydrator.

Car window:  I place it in the window of my car with cheese cloth over it.  It will dry remarkably fast on a hot day.

Roll fruit up using the same plastic wrap that you dried it on.  Store in tightly sealed jars.
